RARE AIR

An Exclusive Collaborative Group Show

by the Museum x Washington Commanders

RARE AIR (Artist in Residence) is an arts activation that highlights local artists, community stakeholders, entrepreneurs and individuals who add value to the creative economy and cultural community footprint through Art and Fashion. We believe that an artist is anyone who entertains an audience and has the vision, passion and courage to keep art and love at the core of their lives.

The Washington Commanders in partnership with The Museum came together to commission artists to tap into their creative genius and design custom helmets as a part of this inaugural Artist in Residence initiative. The Museum chose a wide range of creatives from all walks of life to design Helmets that represented them as well as their community.
